  TOUR   DETAILS

Duration : 2 hours
From 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Special tours offered during the International Jazz Fest, the Francofolies and the Highlights Festival!

Join us downtown on Canada’s most important commercial street for an interesting walk through this ever changing neighborhood. Accompanied by a professional Foodie guide, you will hear stories and anecdotes explained through a variety of surprising tastings. This culinary adventure will carry you through the working class and high class societies of Montreal.

We will start the tour in the heart of Chinatown and then explore the Red Light District. These two neighborhoods have known their finest years at the same point in time. Walking up St-Laurent Boulevard, you will hear stories from behind the scenes of the Red Light District where famous actors and singers have marked the streets of Montreal.

A lot has changed and today the neighborhood breathes fresh air as it welcomes some of the finest technological and cultural institutions in Quebec such as the SAT and La Vitrine’s 2-22 that exposes Moment Factory’s interactive kiosk.

As for the Place des Arts and the Quartier des Spectacles, they’ve rejuvenated! Efforts of development have transformed the streets into a large canvas for world class festivals and social gatherings.

We will end our adventure on ‘La Catherine’, an important landmark in Montreal’s history with its trendy shops, traditional theatres and renewed churches.

We will finish the tour with a last surprise tasting.
